People v. Beard

On order of the Court, the Court having heard oral argument in this matter and having examined the briefs of the parties, we REVERSE the judgments of the Court of Appeals and of the Recorder's Court for the City of Detroit and we REMAND this case to the Wayne Circuit Court for a new trial. On the facts of this case, we find that the defendant was denied the effective assistance of counsel.
