People V. Buffum

Roy L. Buffum, a physician and surgeon, and Reginald L. Rankin were indicted for and convicted of violating section 182 of the Penal Code*fn1 in that they conspired to use certain means to induce miscarriages contrary to section 274.*fn2 Defendants appeal from the judgments and from an order denying their motions for a new trial.
