Rogue Planet

A rogue planet dislodged from its star passes through the solar system. A manned probe lands on it and discovers ruined cities but no trace of the occupants—nothing, not a picture, not a scrap of paper, not even an appliance. No clue is left as to the nature of the occupants. Astrophysicist, Margot Medina, discovers and photographs an obelisk that is covered with writing. Will the experts on earth be able to decipher it? Will it solve the puzzle the crew found on Odysseus? Will artificial intelligence aid or hinder the mission? Ultimately, will earth survive the passing visit by a rogue planet?
