Sandstrom & Sons v. State Alaska

Sandstrom sued the State over a road construction contract dispute on September 27, 1989. The superior court placed the case
on the "fast track" pursuant to Civil Rule 16.1. Civil Rule 16.1(k) required Sandstrom to produce certain documents not later
than 75 days after service of the summons and complaint. 1 It is undisputed that Sandstrom failed to comply with this rule.
