The first part of J. R. R. Tolkien’s epic adventure
THE LORD OF THE RINGS
‘A most remarkable feat’
Guardian
In a sleepy village in the Shire, a young hobbit is entrusted with an immense task. He must make a perilous journey across Middle-earth to the Cracks of Doom, there to destroy the Ruling Ring of Power – the only thing that prevents the Dark Lord Sauron’s evil dominion.
Thus begins J. R. R. Tolkien’s classic tale of adventure, which continues in The Two Towers and The Return of the King.

The Greatest story ever told
For some time that I have wanted to get into the world of JRR Tolkien and get to know what lots of people claim to be the one of the greatest stories ever told.
I have just finished the first one and “Oh boy!”, what a ride it has been. I have loved every single Moment of The Fellowship of the Ring! Since the start of the journey to Rivendell I knew I was about to discover something special. Then Moria came, then LothLórien... an amazing quest full of adventure, excitement and beautiful writing as poetic as it is descriptive and captivating.
The last chapter is amazing. Full of contradicting emotions that truly capture the very nature of the human soul. Can’t wait to find out what happens next!
I came to Middle-Earth to stay and I think it will never leave me!
