Christmas Eve: the coziest, sparkliest, most rom-com-ready night of the year. Snow is falling, magic is in the air… and literally anything could happen...

Alexandra O'Malley, a perpetually grumpy college student, is convinced the universe is personally mocking her love life. Everyone she knows seems to be pairing off like it's a Hallmark movie, while she's stuck in a silent office on a holiday, answering phones and pretending she's not counting the minutes, especially now that her boss has ditched her for a ten-day Caribbean cruise.

Sure, she wants her own happily-ever-after, but first she has to survive the next few hours without losing her mind. At least there's a Christmas party waiting for her, and a dream-date with Roland: charming, brilliant, and the owner of a dangerously sexy British accent. He checks every box… or so it seems.

But then come the curveballs, little Christmas "ghosts" of past, present, and future—reminding Alex that love doesn't always show up the way she expects. And sometimes the perfect holiday surprise has been right in front of her all along.
