The Struggle

Ever since my eldest sister turned me, I have faced nothing but struggles.

I struggle to not give into the thirst that never abates.

I struggle to not blame my sister.

I struggle to survive.

Because as much as my fellow townspeople think we’re all monsters now, we still cling to our humanity. We wish to save them.

But that, too, is merely just another struggle I bear.
