Descrição da editora
Joana is a conservative, controlling woman who expected much more from marriage; Maria is trying to get back on her feet after being dumped just before her wedding; Filipe hides his broken heart in failed relationships. Is this as good as it gets when you're thirty something? That's what these three friends from college times will find out during a dysfunctional dinner party. Because life is not always how we dreamed it would be.
Considered by some 'The Big Chill' of the 21st century, this debut novel is all about the end of innocence. Funny, clever and real.

Thirty something share stories of common life
Having this book is a must do!
This new Portuguese author has an easy writing and a "can't stop reading"effect.
One of the most amazing things about Thirty Something is that while you are reading it, it seems that you knew the characters, that in some point of your life you already met or knew/know someone with the same personality.
Great great book with a common story, that happens to everyone.
Will it turn into a movie???
This book is a great read! I was referred to it by a portuguese friend and it's definatelly worth your time.
Smart, funny and filled with situations that all of us can remember going through or having heard about, it is a refreshing novel from a new author that promises a great movie! The way with words that the author delivers is almost cinematographical, in the sense that you can picture everything in your head. At a certain point, I even started to wonder who would be the best actor/ actress for each role.
I was hooked by the end of the 1st paragraph "That was the day I learned what it means to be misunderstood". Wish I read it when I was younger...cause some things are definatelly how we dreamed they would be...
And since I seem to be the first reviewing the English version, I get to take the bragging rights if it becomes a best-seller!!!
