Sonnets from the Crimea

Written by the author of “Pan Tadeusz,” hailed as the “immortal hero of Polish poetry,” and translated by self-taught American poet Edna Worthley Underwood, these sonnets address the natural and man-made landscapes of the Russian Empire in the early 19th century.
