On June 25, Sagamore Institute was pleased to welcome Christine Tolbert Norman to Indiana. Mrs. Norman is the founder and president of Restoration of Educational Advancement Programs (REAP), which provides psychosocial support, educational resources, practical expertise, and other tools designed to help children and young adults of war-affected countries in Africa. Mrs. Norman has overcome many challenges to become such a successful leader. She was forced into exile from her home country after her father William Tolbert, the 20th president of Liberia, was assassinated. Mrs. Norman spoke about her work in character-based leadership development.
