I didn't ask for three protectors. I definitely didn't mean to want all of them.

One exposed spell, and the Supernatural Council ships me off to Magic Guardian Academy. Apparently, I need to learn control. Assigning three dangerously distracting men to watch over me seems like a questionable teaching method.

I want my freedom back. They're supposed to keep me alive. Neither of those things requires me to notice how close they're standing—or wonder what would happen if I closed the distance.

But wanting their hands on me is the easy part.

Getting used to having someone at my back? Starting to hope I might mean more to them than an assignment? That's where I could get hurt.

Because somewhere between resenting their protection and craving their company, I stop imagining my escape without them.

All three of them.

Then someone decides my first semester should be my last, and the secrets my parents buried reach far beyond this academy. Mastering my magic might keep me alive, but it won't answer the question I'm starting to dread.

If the Council turns against me, where will my protectors stand?

Would they break the rules to keep me—or expect me to keep following them?
