Chaos Rains at Forty-Four

Emma’s life is about to spiral - downwards.

Just turned 44, facing unexpected redundancy from a comfortable ‘make-do’ job, intrusive thoughts and deep-buried depression bubble to the surface. She wants to hide from friends and family, but it’s easier to cling to nostalgia and keep up appearances than open up to the truth - especially to her family.

Emma falls back on the recollection of an uncomplicated childhood, but has choppy waters to navigate. It starts to feel like every ship is sinking.
