Copper and Covet

There are men who destroy for a living and love like they are building something from the wreckage. You will know him by the copper on his hands and the way he tears everything down except you.

Sable Merritt arrives at a decaying Texas copper plant to claim her inheritance, only to find Landry Cross systematically tearing down her father's legacy. Cold and efficient, Landry holds a demolition permit signed by a dead man, along with Sable's phone, her camera, and every key to her exit. When a brutal tropical storm slams into the coast and washes out the roads, they are trapped together inside a shipping container nested within the toxic plant. As the professional battle turns into a claustrophobic fight for survival in the stifling heat, distance becomes a luxury they can no longer afford. Landry is a fortress of secrets, but as the storm tears the roof from the walls, his heavy, copper stained hands are the only things keeping Sable safe. With floodwaters rising, Sable must calculate if the man holding her in the dark is her protector, or the final piece of wreckage that will destroy her completely.
