From the moment Mali Stoddard – wearing a hoodie, sweatpants and hot-pink slipper-socks – arrives in a Colonial settlement called Creede’s Bay, she unintentionally stirs up trouble, especially for the charismatic Ethan Creede, whose father established the settlement. Soon she begins to realize she has put her faith and trust in the wrong people. She also discovers that falling for a man who was born over 300 years before she was…especially as her desire for him rapidly escalates…is fraught with problems.
