In the midst of possible human extinction, Brian, along with his lacrosse teammate and best friend, Chris, face traumatic experiences to stay alive. The trip takes a dreadful turn when meteors strike earth, turning the country and its population upside-down. Its there Brian meets other survivors, becomes part of a group, and falls in love. Assisting with the rehabilitation of civilization, Brian, Chris and his newly found friends embark on a dangerous journey to sustain life and possibly reconnect with lost family and the rest of the world. Brians love interest, Melinda, briefs him on potential leery actions displayed from one of the groups. Brian decides to investigate, only to put himself at risk due to the secrecy of his discovery.
