Every Week is Shark Week

Biodiversity Heritage Library (BHL) is a consortium of natural history and botanical libraries that cooperate to digitize and make accessible the legacy literature of biodiversity held in their collections and to make that literature available for open access and responsible use as a part of a global “biodiversity commons.”

BHL has promoted Shark Week with it’s own shark campaigns utilizing all of our social media outlets including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Flickr and the BHL Blog.

This e-Book is not a comprehensive textbook on sharks but rather a compilation of articles, tweets, images, quizzes, and facts about sharks compiled from the BHL social media campaigns during Shark Week.
