I’m a horrible secretary.
I can’t even get my boss’s coffee right.
It’s not my fault he scrambles my brain.
Plus, I haven’t slept well in weeks.
My brother is in trouble.
When I’m inevitably fired, I need a way to get money.
Turns out I have something valuable to sell.
Now, I just need to go through with it.

Cassandra is the reason I come into the office.
I own the company; I can work from home.
But, she’s too adorable for words.
She’s also terrible at her job.
When she gets fired without my knowledge, Ben follows her.

I’ve had my eyes on Cassandra for months.
But so has my boss and best friend, Spence.
So I keep my mouth shut and my mind focused.
My job is to protect Spence.
Until I’m assigned to protect Cassandra too.
When I find out what she has planned, I lose my mind.
