She's here to close the deal. He's here to stop her. Falling in love wasn't part of the plan.

Natasha Whitney doesn't do small towns, slow mornings, or dirt on her designer shoes. Somehow, her latest project involves all three. She's a high-powered corporate lawyer sent to secure a land deal for a major developer. Land that just happens to include a large portion of Spring Farms.  Standing directly in her way is Duke Spring.

Duke is everything Natasha isn't used to dealing with: unbelievably kind, patient, family oriented and infuriatingly calm.  A lifelong bachelor, he runs his family's farm, coaches T-ball, serves on the board of the local baseball team, town council and is very used to getting his own way.  He definitely has the home field advantage working for him.  

The problem? He's not backing down. She's not sticking around. Simple. At least, it should be.

Somewhere between contract negotiations, ruined designer suits, nights at the ballpark and days at the farm… things start to shift.
