Inhalant Anesthetics
Descripción editorial
Veterinary students often encounter difficulties mastering the concepts associated with the delivery of inhalational anesthetic agents to their patients. This is largely due to the fact that there are important differences between the concepts of concentration and partial pressure of agents when using vaporizers, and that it is difficult to envision the effects of changes in barometric pressure and how the minimum alveolar concentration of anesthetic can affect patients. This book includes a combination of illustrations and animations designed to facilitate understanding of these concepts and better prepare them for the clinical environment.
