Israel and the Return of Christ

Every time we pick up the newspaper, or hear the news on TV and radio, we find ourselves observing the fulfilment of prophecy firsthand, especially with regard to Israel. We have become so used to "watching the fig tree budding" that we that we do not always realize the significance of what is happening globally.

Well has it been said that Israel is God's prophetic clock. When we observe her closely, then we can see what God is doing in our world and how close the Coming of Jesus is. The "fig tree" is beginning to show signs of new life in our generation. The evidence is literally shouting at us.

Peace still seems as fragile as ever as Israel struggles with internal problems and re-elections. The Bible tells us that there will be a "peace agreement" signed with antichrist himself. This seven-year treaty will also be broken by him, resulting in greatest battle ever fought — the Battle of Armageddon — which culminates in Coming of the Lord to rescue Israel.

The fig tree is budding ... in our generation. The nations have an appointment with the Lord at Armageddon.
