Learning at RGS Worcester

Our Story

Descripción editorial

RGS Worcester, the sixth oldest school in the world, aims to ‘cherish the past, look to the future’. Students across all three schools - RGS The Grange, RGS Springfield and the Senior School - have 1:1 iPads as part of their Digital Learning Programme. They have used Apple technology for over twenty years, and their goal has always been to involve students in the process of learning, prepare them for the global workforce, enable independent thinking, and strengthen feedback between teachers and students. Students use their iPad to record science experiments, create stop-motion animations in geography and document learning while on field trips. iTunes U courses are used as a way to structure and deliver learning materials for students, who also use iMacs to create videos, presentations, podcasts and learn how to code.
