This is the third volume in the series. It looks at the advertising business in the late 1970s and the smaller, regional, and second string agencies that were not at the glamorous end of the business. In other words a complete contrast to Volume Two, and yet an important part of the industry.
Much of the narrative reprints a diary written by a graduate trainee that offers a rare, contemporary, first hand account of working in the business. One that is not the usual rose-tinted glasses approach.
