This is the second book in the Prophet X series. In this book ('New Beginnings') John Davidson and his family try to start over after being relocated to the Gulf coast. But as the past and present collide to form new problems, John is forced to realize things will never be the same. They finally return to their home state of Arkansas. He has been forever changed by past events and must once again rise to meet the challenges of an uncertain future.
