Nono And The Goblin

During the 1960's, Constance Shore ("Connie" to her friends, but "Nanna" to her grandchildren - of which I am one) lovingly wrote and hand-painted fairy stories for her grandchildren.  These she would read as bedtime stories, and we were utterly captivated.


This is the story of Peter, a little boy who because he didn’t believe in magic anymore, refused to read a fairy to tale to his little sister.   That night, he was awoken from a deep sleep to find a friendly goblin in his room - a goblin from the very same fairy tale book …
