Overthink

EARTH, 1974

Omchakris was about twenty kilometres out from Tierra del Fuego, in rough seas dominated by time travelling dolphins. It was so far underwater that it could only be reached by a submarine or a saucer.

"Bring your accelerator pistol," I told Agent Underwood before we headed out. "The last time I was there, I got into a fight with a giant mechanical squid operated by Dr. Mengele."

I had a feeling there were going to be beautiful women, UFOs, and gunfights with Andean Nazis – three of my favourite things other than heavy metal and my electric guitar.
