St. Clare's Series 1-3

1. The Twins at St. Clare’s
Pat and Isabel O’Sullivan, spoiled and snobbish twins, are sent to St. Clare’s boarding school against their wishes. Determined not to fit in, they behave badly and refuse to make friends. However, through school life—games, pranks, midnight feasts, and the firm but fair discipline of the teachers—the twins gradually change. They learn lessons about friendship, humility, and loyalty, slowly winning the respect of their classmates. By the end, they begin to enjoy school and look forward to the future.

2. The O’Sullivan Twins
In their second term, Pat and Isabel return with more enthusiasm. They meet new girls, including Carlotta, a circus performer with a secret past, and Prudence, a deceitful and two-faced student. Rivalries and misunderstandings arise, but the twins learn to stand up for their friends and see through false appearances. Themes of loyalty and honesty shine as the girls settle more firmly into school life.

3. Summer Term at St. Clare’s
The twins’ third term introduces more lively characters: mischievous Bobby, scatterbrained Sadie, and self-important Kathleen. The girls’ adventures include pranks, class dramas, and valuable lessons in responsibility. As friendships deepen, the twins’ growth from spoiled children into true St. Clare’s girls becomes clear.
