STEM Play Experiences in Early Childhood

In this book you will find lesson plans to introduce STEM activities to Preschool children. The introduction of the NGSS standards, beginning in Kinder created an opportunity to find ways to prepare early childhood students for Science in Elementary. Additionally, we noticed that students needed more play time built into their busy schedule. This is how STEM Play emerged. In an unstructured way, Nursery and PreKinder children are exposed to STEM concepts and collaborative work in a friendly, challenging, playful environment.
