Ashley Davis is a woman on a mission. She’s just taken up a ranger position in a national park in Ohio after leaving her cheating boyfriend. Determined to find herself a new life, she doesn’t expect to be brushing up against the local Shifter Clan and their stubborn ways. The old ranger was run off due to the Clan, but Ashley is determined. 


Jacob Midnight is a Bear Shifter with something to prove. He’s always fighting to protect the old traditions of his Clan, which remains hidden away from the modern world in a forest of Ohio. He doesn’t expect to find a worthy adversary in a gorgeous human woman, the new park ranger. And he’s nursing his own wounds after the death of his mate, while raising his own newborn daughter with the clan.
