Each style starts with simple drum charts and gradually builds to more complex and demanding compositions. The book contains two tracks for every drum chart—a full performance with drums and a track minus drums allowing the drummer to both study the style and play along with the band. The Drummer's Play-Along also includes sections on song structures, musical terms and symbols, and interpretation of rhythmic figures.
