The End, as It Happens to Them

The end started out just like any other day, but has now become something more with the group of survivors searching for the man that took the women from their home. They have to set out again, after only being home for a day, but to go where? The group is surprised at the help that is offered, and jump at the chance use it.
As they try to keep vengeance out of their minds, the search brings them through the plains of Colorado and into western Kansas. The race is coming to an end and the outcome is far from sure. Is it a dead end? It feels like it. Will they ever find the people they are searching for or will they have to return home empty handed? Whatever happens to them, their outlook on the world around them has changed forever.
