It happens to everybody at some time or another: you have a really weird, perhaps even mysterious experience that just doesn't seem to make sense, and no matter how much you try to figure it out, you simply can't come up with a logical answer. Many people, when faced with such mysteries, are all too eager to suspect the intervention of ghosts, or they conjure up other supernatural interpretations. Yet common sense should tell you that before you begin to get superstitious, it's always best to think the situation through using systematic logic in order to come up with a plausible explanation.
