Descripción editorial
Henri Rene Albert Guy de Maupassant (1850 – 1893) was a French writer remembered as a master of the short story form and as a representative of the naturalist school of writers who depicted human lives and destinies and social forces in disillusioned and often pessimistic terms.
"The Necklace" or "The Diamond Necklace" is an 1884 short story by French writer Guy de Maupassant. It is remarkable and well known for its twist ending, which was a hallmark of de Maupassant's style. Later "The Necklace" has been adapted to film and television several times.
