The Turn of the Screw

The Turn of the Screw is a horror novella written by Henry James that was first serialized in Collier’s Weekly from January of 1898, until April of the same year before being released in October of 1898 in its collected form. In The Turn of the Screw, a governess charged of taking care of two children begins to experience ghostly phenomenon around the house and grounds of the estate. The book can be interpreted in different ways, which has only contributed to its long popularity.
