The Unprepared

The city life, the alone life was fine for Laney. It was fine until the blink when the lights, all and everywhere, went off and brought darkness to her simple daily life.  She didn't know the explanation of events, it became  clear she would take action or perish. The road and her search for haven would demand more courage than she could ever have imagined. She was unprepared for the dangers that lurked in a new dystopian world....was she stronger than she thought? Was there anyone else out there, like her, that would be an ally?
