2014 Pantheist Holidays

This book is a guide to the “Pantheist holidays” identified in our 2014 photo calendar, “Celebrating Earth’s Creatures.” Expanding on last year’s calendar, for 2014 we have identified over 100 special events neglected by regular calendars, including the solstices and equinoxes, commemorations of natural events, international celebrations, and an extensive listing of "Pantheist Prophets" ranging from Spinoza to Wordsworth to Thoreau to Muir. (Pantheist Prophets here exclude living individuals.) These major events, often inspirational, but sometimes tragic, go beyond the typical anthropocentric world-view of ordinary calendars.
