Publisher Description
This book recounts the majority of what is called Burgoyne's Campaign in the northern colonies of America, which took place in 1777. Though Burgoyne himself was originally blamed for the eventual decline and surrender of his army in the face of Daniel Morgan's Rangers' guerilla warfare tactics, later scholars would determine that a combination of factors contributed to the end of the campaign.
