Publisher Description
Falden Corshival is an ancient. Tasked with protecting what remains of his people, he and his Lumerian Knights have been in hiding for more than two thousand years. His duty is to protect all that is left of the Lumerians’ heritage and technology from enemies who continue to hunt survivors. He believed they were safe on Earth, hidden among the Caldorians. He was wrong.
When a nosy investigative reporter sets up a ‘blind date’ with a known black market dealer, Falden knows he must do whatever it takes to find out who she is and what she knows, including pretending to be her unknown contact. Unfortunately, Falden has spent a millennia out of the dating scene. Worse, he has no understanding of human courting rituals and relies on a dating guide made by a human blogger.
Isabella Serrano is in danger. Her friend has disappeared, her contacts on the street are scared, and her only chance to infiltrate the alien black market is to accept a ‘blind’ meeting with a member of an alien group of smugglers who shoot first and ask questions later. When her ‘blind date’ turns out to be a drop-dead gorgeous alien with no manners and a bad attitude, she wants to stab him in the eye with her four-inch heel.

Alien warrior action romance
I was excited about the fun premise of an ancient serious alien with the weight of the world on his shoulders having to resort to a pick up artist playbook with disastrous results
Only this was just a game play for both main characters. It wasn’t the fun and games I was hoping for. The mask is soon off.
Things got darker and more into action adventure territory as the danger levels keep going up.
Both MCs are well matched highly capable action heroes. He’s an ancient warrior commander she’s a tough investigative journalist. Of course they are soulmates!
This is a rich alien world.
Maybe not the best place to start with this series still it’s an enjoyable fast paced action adventure romance
