Bodhi Six The Blackness

Mr. Anderson finished tying Mr. Henderson to the platform pole, picked up a sack, and walked to Madam High Achiever. He handed the bag to her and stepped back.
Madam High Achiever placed her hand inside the bag and took out a blaster. She placed it on narrow beam and handed it to the first volunteer. She reached inside and took out three more blasters. She handed each of the other three volunteer blasters. She motioned for them to step closer to Ana, and yelled, “Now, each of you will give her one full second blast. Remember, she was willing to give you the business end of her laser. She had no qualms about doing that.”
Ana could feel the knife-like energy trying to push its way back inside her head. When the first blast struck her from the blaster, it seemed to drive the energy out. She actually felt better after the blaster did its work. She could not move a muscle, but her antagonist was gone.
The next blast took her deeper inside. The third and fourth blast set her free of her body. It was useless to her. Being out of her body had left her in shock a moment. She could see everyone. Madam High Achiever had retrieved the blasters. Now she was trying to give Rose one.
