Liza, a beautiful heiress, hooks up with the “firefighter” of her dreams at a masquerade party. After a passionate night, the two fall in love, but Liza has no idea her firefighter is not what he seems. 

In actuality, Jamie is a servant who spends his days cooking, cleaning and slaving around his half-brother Marcus’ mansion. Marcus continually throws Jamie’s misfortune in his face and balks when Jamie declares his love for Liza. Marcus forbids Jamie to see Liza again and concocts a scheme to have her for himself. 

Desperate not to give up on love, Liza traipses around the city, approaching every man from the party, determined to find her beloved firefighter and live happily ever after.
