Dangerous Attraction

Distractions get men like me killed… But this is one bullet to the heart I'd willingly take.

As the Don of my family, my job is simple—work with my brothers to keep our family "businesses" running smoothly.  To make that happen, I have to get my hands dirty from time to time with more nefarious dealings. My life was my job and my family, nothing more.

Until she walked into my casino.

Madison is beautiful, smart, and ambitious. She's everything good—all things I'm not. She's a distraction I don't need, and I treat her like she doesn't matter every chance I get. Maybe if I keep pushing her away, making her hate me, I won't ruin her. 

But Madison is everything I want, and I'm fighting my restraint to claim her for myself. 

When someone tries to use her to get to me, I unleash the man I was raised to be and show the world what happens when you touch what's mine. 

All I can do now is pray that when the dust settles, she will see who I really am and not walk away from me forever.
