East Angels

East Angels is a fascinating picture of post-Bellum Florida, the role of women in the 19th century life, and of women in general during that period of American history. Some of the characters seem almost unbelievable in modern terms, but the reader is transported into an age in which they seem possible and their story becomes quite intriguing and evocative.
