Publisher Description

God's Final Curtain Call is a suspenseful, adventure novel with a strong Christian theme which takes place on the Eastern Seaboard of Atlantic City in the early 1950's. The story line follows two teen-age girls, one a Christian, the other a disbeliever, in their reunion as childhood friends. They retrace their happy childhood memories in a deserted, decaying opera house on the abandoned boardwalk. Trying to recapture the golden memories of youth in their favorite playground, they instead encounter a dangerous, demented recluse living within the abandoned edifice. Woven like a thread is the effort of the protagonist to lead her unbelieving friend to the Lord, along with the lone occupant of the old opera house. Much research has gone into the background of the Atlantic City Boardwalk in its heyday and its demise during the depression years of the 1930's. This gives the reader a historical perspective of the grandeur of this famous playground and its sad demise. This novel is aimed at both Christians and non-Christians alike, and provides accurate historical significance of the Atlantic City Boardwalk in all its grandeur during the 1890's through the 1920's. The Christian theme reveals the mercy and love of God that He has for saint and sinner alike and is an encouragement for the believer and non- believer of Jesus as the Son of God and the Savior of the world.
