Publisher Description

Marshall Teague was an early NASCAR driver who drove Hudsons to victory in the early 1950s. My e-book looks at Teague's performances from news clippings that were published in newspapers of the era. Teague and Herb Thomas were teammates in Hudson cars during an era when this American marque was dominate in both NASCAR and American Automobile races from 1951-1953. The news items that I have used are largely from syndicated and northeastern newspapers that covered speedways like Langhorne in Pennsylvania and the Wisconsin State fairgrounds. The Hudson Hornets of Teague and Thomas placed 1st and 2nd in a Daytona 150-mile race on February 10, 1952.
