William Michael Rossetti, was one of the seven founding members of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood and was the brother of both the painter, Dante Gabriel Rossetti and of the poet, Christina Rossetti. This book is both an autobiographical account of his life, as well as a biographical look at the lives of his friends, family and colleagues, the Pre-Raphaelites and other notable artists and writers of the day.
