Spawn encounters Houdini , an agent of a mysterious confederation of magic called Overlap. He teaches Spawn how to use his uniform more effectively , which comes in handy immediately when they are attacked by a street gang. After the threat is dispatched , Houdini enlists Spawn in a demon-destroying mission.
