The Alpha's Hunt

【Alpha Emanuel had eight girls before me. I was supposed to be his ninth. Until the Lycan King marked me as his own.】

“My venom is replacing Alpha Emanuel’s. It will take some time for it to burn away any reminder of him in your body and leave only my trace under your skin.”

He leaned down, and I felt his breath against my ear.

“But when it does, you’ll belong to me. Fully and completely.”

Every girl who reaches the age of eighteen without a mate is volunteered for the Alphas’ Hunt. Hazel is no exception, and she is also the only one who sees it not as a chance to find a strong Alpha to take care of her, but rather as a ceremony that strips her of her free will and sends her out into the woods to be hunted like a deer.

If she is claimed, she will be his. If she is not, she will return in shame and be shunned by her pack.

Hazel knows the ways of the Alphas, being the daughter of a Beta, but what she doesn't count on is the presence of the Lycan King, Darian. The leader of all is participating in his first-ever hunt, and she is his prey.
