The Invisible City

Sixteen year old Mikey knows a thing about life.

Well, he knows more than his folks, who despite their ignorance of Sartre, still proffer him regular advice. It's just a shame they don't take it themselves.

And then Ani arrives and Mikey discovers that life's not so sure anymore. Ani's beautiful, intelligent, confident and charming and moreover, she's interested in learning what Mikey thinks about things. It's the beginning of a unique friendship. And yet, as Mikey looks closer he senses there's something that Ani's not saying. Is she hiding some dark truth that will explode his life sideways?

It seems that growing up is inevitable. But growing close, now that's a whole new thing entirely.
