About the Author



Brenda Phegley is an English professor at Wabash Valley College, where she has taught English, speech, and literature for the past thirty-six years. Because of her inspirational teaching style, Brenda has been recognized as "Teacher of the Year" many times. Brenda is passionate about helping other people have faith in themselves even when life is challenging. Brenda and her husband, Terry, live in southern Illinois, and they are blessed with five grandchildren.
