A Very Pleasaunt & Fruitful Diologe Called The Epicure
Publisher Description
This is a 1545 Dutch text, translated into late Middle English. It was written by Desiderius Erasmus, the Dutch Renaissance humanist and theologian. Here the word “Epicure” does not mean a gourmet, but refers to the works of philosopher Epicurus.
