Once upon a time I had a friend named Diana who I spoke to every day. We were bound to each other through history and affection, as close as friends could be. Then she betrayed me.

Bright, ambitious, and hopelessly competitive, Annie and Diana were inseparable young actresses cutting their teeth in New York City.
